The Director, Logistics will provide leadership and support in the development of the global logistics organization on both strategic and tactical levels. The role involves project identification, portfolio management, and project management to maximize value to Promethean. Responsible for ensuring the logistics team manages the timely, efficient and cost-effective transfer of products from manufacturing sites and to customers.
The Director, Logistics will provide leadership and support in the development of the global logistics organization on both strategic and tactical levels. This includes project identification, portfolio management, project prioritization and project management to maximize value to Promethean and seamless operations. They will be responsible for ensuring the logistics team, as well as regional and all associated resources, successfully manage the timely, efficient and cost-effective transfer of products.
Coordinate procurement, material planning, and logistics activities cross functionally and across multiple clinical studies. Schedule and support the time critical and temperature sensitive materials including global distribution of cell therapies. Coordinate Order Management processes, including order generation, changes, shipment, and delivery scheduling.
A detail-obsessed coordinator is needed to run day-to-day purchasing and order administration. You'll create and track purchase orders (POs), enter customer sales orders into our system, coordinate purchasing with manufacturers, and issue invoices—accurately, on time, every day. This is a back-office, operations role that requires real-time availability during U.S. business hours and close collaboration with our internal team.
